Progressive psychiatry for families, individuals and institutions with Doctor Sabas Castillo
Progressive psychiatry for families, individuals and institutions with Doctor Sabas Castillo
Life is challenging. This is a fact that we all have to face and deal with throughout our lives. Rather than avoiding life's problems, when bringing deeper awareness and understanding to the source of our experience of life we can find better ways of dealing with, and overcoming, the inevitable challenges that life throws at us.
Doctor Sabas has a background in both conventional psychiatry and Freudian psychoanalysis, as well as a keen interest in the Buddhist philosophy. This and his wealth of experience working with families individuals and institutions alike, allow him to explore issues from a number of angles and offer a variety of approaches catered to the individual needs of each person. With attentive non-judgemental listening, thought provoking questions, and his medical knowledge and experience he will diagnose underlying issues, give valuable advice and support, and when appropriate provide psychiatric medical treatment.
Doctor Sabas is available for face to face sessions at his Caracas clinic, Skype consultations from anywhere in the world at mutually agreed times, and talks/presentations for institutions such as schools, companies and media outlets.

His further training as a Freudian Analyst allows him to go beyond the constraints of traditional psychiatry diagnosis or labelling.
"I believed we all face difficulties in life and when we learn how to endure those challenges either through reflecting on them or sublimating it gives us access to better understanding our situation and moving forward".
